I didn't recieve the confirmation email.
The confirmation will sometimes land in the junk or spam box. If the email has not arrived, you can request a new confirmation email by going to the forgot password link and entering the email address you used during sign up. If your account is not confirmed, a message will appear which will allow you to request a new confirmation email.
How much can I make?
Google Adsense is a contextual advertising platform. The amount you make is dependent on content/keywords, traffic quality, pageviews, etc. Its important to post interesting and original content.
What content is allowed?
Flixya follows a strict policy on submitted content. If you submit adult material, your account and content will be deleted and you risk losing your Google Adsense Publisher ID. We have zero tolerance for inappropriate content. If you are unclear, do not submit the content. Please see our Content Policy below.
How can I promote my Flixya content?
Below are some methods to promoting your Flixya content:
- Posting on Social Bookmarking websites
- Sharing on forums, blogs, social networks
- Linking from other webpages
- Email newsletters and signatures
- Submitting to link and rss directories
Many of these techniques are publicly available and further details can be found on most search engines.
The Top 5 Ways to Drive Traffic on Flixya.com
1. Add Quality Content
Original content and sharing videos that have are entertaining is key. A lot of times people think that adding content like girls on web cams or inappropriate stuff will drive traffic. The fact is, it does drive traffic, however, if it's deemed inappropriate, not only do you risk losing your Google Adsense publisher account, but no ads will appear surrounding your content. There are many Flixya members who have been suspended as well due to adding inappropriate videos and photos. Why risk losing your Flixya account and the opportunity to generate an income?
2. Share Your Content
Another point made in the Flixya newsletter was that the first step in driving traffic was to share the content. People will find your content, if there is any entertainment value, which brings me to my next tip:
3. Always add Accurate Titles
I think you're doing yourself a huge disservice if you do not add an accurate title that describes your video, photo or blog. A title such as "Car video" isn't going to generate any interest. However, a title such as "CRASH! BMW drifting in school parking lot" is much more interesting and will result in more views.
4. Always add a Description
Additional information that can be added into a description is as necessary as an accurate title. People may be more interested in the video (or photos) if you can provide a strong description. An example: "Check out my friend driving his new 2007 BMW in our school parking lot right before he hits a tree!" is much stronger than "Cool video".
5. Always add Tags! (keywords)
No one will see your video or content if you do not surround your video with relevant keywords. Videos and photos are not optimized for search engines and naturally, the only way they will be indexed in a search engine is with relevant text. The text that surrounds the content is also how the Google AdSense contextual ads are generated.
Adding content without a descriptive title, accurate description and lack of tags, will result in your content being buried and no one will know just how funny or entertaining your video is!
As easy and fun as sharing videos and photos and blogs can be, take the time to follow these tips or you are just wasting your time! Uploading a collection of 30 photos with the the title "Birds" isn't going to do much.
Quick Text Editing Tip: When you are logged in - you can edit or make changes to your videos and photos (after an upload) by clicking into the title and descriptions? Try it, it's a very quick editing feature that not a lot of people know about.
Why is my account is suspended?
Account suspension is a result of breaking the Flixya TOS. Users should review the Flixya Terms of Service if they are uncertain of the content they are submitting.
Spamming is strictly prohibited. Users soliciting others to click ads will be immediately terminated without warning. Please see our Content Policy below.

Submitting or uploading content that is or related to: Fetish, lingerie, webcams, sex, drugs, death, explicit, partial nudity, blatant adult keywords, tags or inappropriate for a general audience is unacceptable and will result in suspension or permanent loss of your account without notice.
Image Policy:

Images published in articles, publications, printed material such as calendars, websites and/or other media are generally protected by copyright law. Uploading these images to Flixya without the copyright owner's permission may constitute copyright infringement and will result in termination of your Flixya account without notice.
Members new to Google Adsense
This topic is for those who recently joined Flixya and signed up for Google Adsense.
This walk though will help members understand the Google Adsense approval process.
As a note, Flixya revenue share is not activated until a member's Google Adsense account has been approved.
Follow these simple steps to create your Google AdSense Publisher account:
1. Create your Flixya account by registering here.
The second page will prompt you to sign up for a Google Adsense Account.
2. After completing the sign up process, Google will send you an email to the email address you specified during sign up.
The email will have the subject "Google AdSense Verification for www.flixya.com"
Please note: Many times, the verification email from Google may go to your SPAM or BULK mail folder. if you do not see an email from Google in your Inbox, check your BULK mail folder.
It is a good idea to add the email address "adsense-support @ google.com" and "adsense-noreply @ google.com" to your address book so that the mails from Google will not be treated as SPAM.
The verification email from Google will look like the following:
Hello, Thank you for your recent AdSense application submitted through www.flixya.com. We look forward to reviewing your site so you can start displaying targeted Google ads. In order to continue the review process, please complete the form linked below, which will submit your application for review. NOTICE: This link will expire soon! Please confirm your email address and fill out the application as soon as you can. If the link does not work, please try manually copying and pasting it into your web browser. https://www.google.com/adsense/c?u=0000&k=0x0000 Once your application is approved, Google ads will begin appearing automatically on your site. For additional questions, please feel free to contact us at https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/request.py Sincerely, The Google AdSense Team
3. You must click on the Google URL in the verification email and complete the steps mentioned in it. Until you complete this step, Google will not activate your account.
4. While completing the steps on Googles website, select the option:
"Yes, allow Flixya.com to access my account".
Without this your Google Adsense revenue share cannot be activated on Flixya. After you have completed the above steps, it may take 2-5 business days to get approval from Google. They may send you more emails asking for further details. Within 2-5 business days, you can expect an email from Google with the final approval notice.

My Google Adsense Application was Rejected
This topic is for members who receive a Google Adsense disapproval email. Sometimes applications are rejected due to the lack of content on a users Flixya page. A common disapproval message is "Your website must contain substantial, original content."
The solution for this is simple: be active on Flixya and contribute lots of great content. Once the user has been active for a while, they can re-submit their application by following the instructions here: https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=81904 . The user can repeat this resubmission process as many times as it takes to fully resolve all issues in the application.
